The ČERVENÉ BARETY z.s. association initiated the production of commemorative VO7 knives by SM PARAPRESENT s.r.o. in honor of the commanders of the 22nd Airborne Brigade (Military Unit 8280) from the period when the VO7 was in service. There are four commanders in total.
VO7 – Mansfeld
Issued in May 2023. Bears the name of Col. František Mansfeld, commander of Military Unit 8280 in 1954–1970. Steel 14260 hardened to 58 HRc, beech wood handle. Series of 50 pieces, each knife, sheath and guard signed. Price 3,900 CZK.
VO7 – Lt. Col. Starý
Issued in December 2023. Bears the name of Lt. Col. Ing. Jindřich Starý, commander of Military Unit 8280 in 1974–1980. Steel 14260 hardened to 58 HRc, beech wood handle. Series of 50 pieces. Price 4,090 CZK.
VO7 – Lt. Col. Juříček
Issued in December 2024. Bears the name of Lt. Col. Ing. Miloslav Juříček, commander of Military Unit 8280 in 1970–1972. Steel 14260 hardened to 58 HRc, beech wood handle. Series of 50 pieces. Price 4,300 CZK.
VO7 – Lt. Col. Hrbek
Issued in November 2025. Bears the name of Lt. Col. Ing. Čestmír Hrbek, commander of Military Unit 8280 in 1972–1974. Steel 14260 hardened to 58 HRc, beech wood handle. Series of 50 pieces. Price 4,500 CZK.
