UTON of the 42nd Mechanised Battalion Reconnaissance Platoon
The reconnaissance platoon of the 42nd mbn has been presenting a UTON to departing members since 2010. Since April 2021 a wooden box with the emblem and a dedication, and a stamp on the sheath, have been added. The reconnaissance platoon wishes to maintain this tradition, because the UTON knife simply belongs to reconnaissance and airborne troops. As shown in the photographs the UTON has so far been produced in only 6 pieces in this configuration.
