UTON vz.75 – 0008

UTONs with stamped number 0008 are the civilian version and were not in the ČSLA or the ACR. This UTON has a different intermediate-type rubber handle — it is neither the classic first smooth hard rubber nor the last roughened softer one. It is probably an intermediate type, half of each — hard and slightly roughened. Notably, the handle lacks the reinforcements for accessories (saw, file).

In the 0008 series one can encounter the 0008 marking on the left side of the blade, with the MIKOV stainless logo on the right side. This variant has the original hard rubber on the handle and the tool hole in the handle is plugged — accessories cannot be inserted. This casts doubt on the theory of a military purpose for series 0008.
