UTON vz.75 Knife Accessories

The UTON sheath contained a saw and file manufactured by AJAX Jihlava from steel 14180, hardened to 56–60 HRC (file) and 45–54 HRC (saw). The saw comes in two variants — the first type had teeth in the shape of a right-angled triangle, the second type had shallower teeth in the shape of an isosceles triangle.

Nylon paracord, diameter 2.5 mm, length 2 metres, green colour. In newer UTONs a less braided cord with a brighter green colour began to appear. The safety pin has a diameter of 5 mm and a length of 22 mm.

The stones were stored in a paper box together with 10 UTON knives. The red-orange stone was supplied with the first UTONs (rare today). More commonly encountered is the later blue-grey stone. Dimensions of the blue-grey: 201×49×25 mm, red-orange: 199×50×25 mm.

The knives were delivered by Mikov in a paper box. Each box contained 10 pieces of UTON vz.75 knives complete with sheaths, accessories and one sharpening stone.
