First sheath — small iron rivets with washers on both sides. Notably, it has the KIN-DOT rivets rotated 180°. This sheath was made for the first 500 UTON pieces of series 0001.
Second sheath — small brass rivets with washers on both sides. This sheath was made for UTONs of series 0002 and 0003.
Third sheath — medium-sized rivets, dome-shaped head on top, hole at the bottom. This sheath for knives of series 0004.
Fourth sheath — medium-sized rivets, flat head on top and bottom. This sheath for knives of series 0004.
Fifth sheath — large brass rivets with a hole in the centre. Marked with years 1978, 1979, last marking from 1983. These sheaths were for UTON knives of series 0005, 0006, 0007.

Army acceptance markings on the sheaths are located on the belt loop — best visible when you undo the KIN-DOT rivets.

In the following photos you can see the sheaths and covers that appeared over the years on UTON knives from the Mikov manufacturer. The manufacturer of most sheaths and sheath covers was SPM Liberec.
You can also encounter, for example, a black police sheath made by DASTA, or many other variants. As you can see in the photos, there were many colour and camouflage variants and many of them can still be purchased today.
