Details of UTON vz.75 Knives

In the photograph you can see how the thumb rest differed across individual series. In series 0001, 0002, 0003 the thumb rest was perpendicular to the blade and the teeth were spaced further apart. In series 0004 we encounter two variants — teeth angled or perpendicular. Series 0005, 0006, 0007 share the same design — teeth perpendicular to the blade and finer serration.

In the photograph you can see differences in the false edge of the blades. In series 0001 and 0002 the false edge is ground closer to the handle and extends into the thumb rest area. In other series the false edge is ground in front of the thumb rest. This information is especially useful for beginning collectors — thanks to the differences in the thumb rest and upper grind, you cannot be sold a modified UTON without knowing.
