UTON SFOR

This UTON was made by Mikov for soldiers who participated in the 1999 SFOR mission (Bosnia and Herzegovina). On the left side of the blade the insignia of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion is etched, and on the right side the SFOR mission insignia and MARCH – OCTOBER 1999. The sheath has the insignia of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion stamped on the front.

The 3rd Mechanized Battalion was formed on the basis of the mechanized battalion from Velká Hleďsebe near Mariánské Lázně. A total of 138 pieces of these knives were produced. The soldiers had to buy the knife themselves for approximately 700 CZK.
