This modern variant of the V07 knife was commissioned by enthusiasts from the ČERVENÉ BARETY association for the 70th anniversary of the formation of airborne units in 2017. Series of 24 knives + one prototype. The knife is made from AK-5 steel, polished to a high shine. The blade bears the engraved motto "Meče armády hrot" (Spearhead of the Army) — it accompanied the paratroopers from 1947 to 14 March 1990. Below the guard is the knife number with the year of production (example: 004/2017).
Guard made from white metal plated to a silver shine. Nut from stainless steel M4. Handle from beech wood with a protective coating and a stamped medallion with the RED BERETS logo (14 mm diameter). Sheath made to original dimensions with original rivets and the airborne emblem from 1947–1952.
The prototype knife has only the marking 001 below the guard and on the blade the RED BERETS motto: Historia Magistra Vita.
