VO-7 Sheaths with Different Snap Fasteners
These earliest types of sheaths have brown rivets and much larger snap fasteners than the newer sheaths. These large snaps also differ from each other in shape.
VO-7 Sheaths with Two Rivets on the Belt Loop
Older sheaths made from scale leather with two brown rivets.
VO-7 Sheaths with Three Rivets on the Belt Loop
Newer sheaths made from smooth and scale leather have green rivets and the snap fasteners are now small and nearly identical on both sheath types.
