This knife was given by soldiers in 1970 to the Chief of Staff Mr. Jaroslav Stross, who at the time was serving with the reconnaissance battalion of the 22nd Airborne Brigade in Prostějov. The abbreviation PZU stands for the 7th Special Purpose Regiment in Holešov, where Mr. Stross served until 1969, before the Russians disbanded the PZU.
