Libela – Rapid Motorized Unit
Since 2013, a new tradition has been established at the Rapid Motorized Unit (PMJ). At the end of each calendar year, the best police officers and civilian employees are recognized who, through their exemplary approach to fulfilling their professional duties, have made a significant contribution to the long-term building and development of the good name of the PMJ. Selected members and employees are presented with a material gift in the form of a combat knife.
Each combat knife Libela is unique in that it is marked with a registered serial number and the officer's personal number. The blade also bears the PMJ motto – CEREBRUM HONOR ET VIRILITAS (reason, honor and strength) and the PMJ emblem. The PMJ emblem is also placed on the pommel of the knife.
The material gift includes a stand consisting of a lacquered oak base with an aluminum support strut. The dagger is secured by a leather strap. The stand is further equipped with a dedication (for police officers, color-coded by rank).
