Head Hunter

The knife named HEAD HUNTER is a combat knife designed specifically for officers of the targeted search department of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service Directorate of the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic, who are often referred to in the media as "headhunters". The knife is thus intended as a universal working tool and personal weapon for crime-fighting specialists who hunt the most wanted criminals.

The knife with an overall length of 240 mm is structurally designed as a double-edged symmetrical dagger equipped with a double-sided guard for thumb support. The 5 mm thick blade is fitted with a serrated edge 30 mm in length. The serrated edge is intended to overcome obstacles requiring higher cutting pressure (rope, fine wire, nylon ties).

The knife is fitted with a double-sided, non-recessed, angled guard 60 mm wide with a roughened surface that, even in extreme conditions, prevents the hand from slipping onto the blade. Only a police officer from the targeted search unit may own the HEAD HUNTER knife. The knife is marked on the blade with the emblem of the Criminal Police and Investigation Service Directorate, the inscription IN OMNIA PARATUS (Prepared for everything) and the manufacturer's logo. On the other side of the blade with the holder's monogram and badge number.

Custom leather holsters were made for the knives, marked with the officer's badge number matching the number on the knife. One piece was also made in stainless steel, which was displayed on a poster for the 2013 winter knife exhibition in Brno.
