Dragon

The Dragon knife is intended for members of the intervention unit of the South Moravian Region based in Brno and is awarded for special merit and service in the unit. The knife design is derived from the Démon knife used by the URNA rapid response unit, and they differ from each other only in minor details.

On the left side in the middle of the blade is the unit's name, at the base of the blade is the intervention unit's logo along with the manufacturer's logo. On the lower edge of the blade is a serrated section for cutting ropes and cords (the photographs here show the knife variant without this serration). Between the blade and the handle is a single-sided steel guard.

The handle is made from black-stained walnut wood with a dovetail carving, 11 cm long. At the end of the handle is a tip for breaking windows. The knife was manufactured by Mr. Lubomír Maďarič from Brno and the leather sheath by Hess Brno.
