The knife was created in 2024 at the initiative of the command of the 4th Rapid Deployment Brigade to commemorate the 30th anniversary of its founding. The name TAMON was formed from letters of the brigade motto "TAM, kde jiní nestačí" (Where others fall short) and from the honorary name "Obrana Národa" (Defence of the Nation). The knife was designed by Major Roman Hippík and manufactured by Mikov. The blade is N690 steel with DLC treatment, handle from green micarta. Overall length 285 mm, blade 149 mm. Delivered with a Kydex sheath, a maker's certificate, and a certificate from brigade command.
FLASH – Civilian Variant
The civilian market variant is called FLASH, launched in November 2025 for 7,390 CZK. Compared to TAMON: Cerakote instead of DLC on the blade, black micarta instead of green, black Kydex sheath, and without 4th Brigade insignia.
