GRAB

The knife was produced in 2006 for the Veterinary Base in Grabštejn, after which it takes the abbreviated designation GRAB. It is a special military unit where soldiers are assisted in their tasks by their four-legged friends.

The Grab knife is a robust working and combat tool with a lower edge and a shortened upper edge with a center point. The knife handle is formed from processed leather pieces and secured by a pommel. The knife is produced in series marked with the letters G, R, A, B — after ten pieces the series is closed. The series designation with the base insignia and the owner's number are etched on the ricasso. The design was created by Maj. Ing. Roman Hippík, the manufacturer is Maďarič of Brno, and the sheaths were made by Hess of Brno.
