Geronimo
The knife was designed by its creator in 1998 as a counterpart to the previously designed Falco knife. While Falco was primarily constructed for close combat, Geronimo was intended to serve more as a multi-purpose knife. It had its greatest trial during the expedition of VA Brno students in 1999 to the Chibi mountain range in Murmansk. The knife is freely available for the civilian sector and upon its market introduction it received the award as the Knife of the Year 1998 at the Příbram exhibition.
On the left side of the blade is the Latin inscription "Vivere Militare Est" — translated as "To live is to fight". The design was created by Ing. Roman Hippík, the knife is manufactured by Lubomír Maďarič of Brno, and leather sheaths are made by Hess of Brno.
The first two photographs show an older model of the Geronimo. The following photographs show a newer model with a new saw that clogs less during cutting and is easier to clean.
