FOXTROT 2025
The Foxtrot is the fifth knife in the War Veteran project. It was unveiled by Mikov in November 2025 but went on sale at the beginning of 2026, priced at 7,700 CZK.
The design draws from the Gryphon and Cháron knives. The knife bears the name of a platoon that suffered casualties in Afghanistan in 2014, and 300 CZK from every unit sold goes to the Military Solidarity Fund.
Each piece is marked with a unique serial number, the maker's marks, and the year of manufacture. The knife comes in a cardboard box together with an informational booklet about the War Veteran project and the other knives in the series, as well as a certificate of authenticity.
Warning: When purchasing, check that the pommel nut is properly tightened. On several pieces — including mine — the nut could be loosened with just two fingers. If you take the knife into the field and chop a few branches, the nut may work loose and you could lose it along with the pommel.
